Developing Your Practice

Starting a naturopathic practice is only the beginning. In this section, you will find even more information and instructions on how to maintain the success of your practice and stick to your business goals.

Your focus should now turn towards finding and retaining patients. Once your practice has been opened for a month or two, begin thinking about improving your and your clinic’s relationship with the community. An open house is a terrific way to garner new patients and really show off the hard work you undertook in creating a practice. At this stage, really kick your marketing efforts into high gear. Consider your target market and the best ways to connect with them. And don’t underestimate the power of word-of-mouth advertising – remember that people always want to have access to medicine and care, and they trust the judgment of people they know.
