Prior to starting Integra Nutrition in 1997, I had been involved in the professional natural care industry and had come to realize a passion for its purpose. This motivated me to start this company.

Initially, Integra Nutrition had distributed for a number of manufacturers but now works exclusively with Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals who is responsible for the Alpha Science Laboratories brand. This is an ideal relationship that has lead from a handful of products to the over 75 we presently provide…and adding more soon. Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals has a pharmaceutical manufacturing license and was one of the first facilities to receive government of Canada NHP certification. It is owned and operated by Dr. Gordon Chang, a Ph.D. in physiology and pharmacology.

As a company, we feel our philosophy on product development and service is unique and competitive. Simply, it is to bring a common sense approach to our clientele based on sound science and integrity. As a result, Integra Nutrition Inc. has realized tremendous growth since our inception. Our initial product line primarily consisted of enzymes, glucosamine and herbal formulations. Today, our expanding list of products now includes vitamin and mineral blends.

Initially, our clientele consisted of discerning naturopathic physicians that had been in practice for some time. I had worked with a number of these practitioners in the past and knew that if our products received their professional approval we were on our way as a company. I can happily say, we received a great deal of approval and they are still clients to this day. Over the years, our client base has grown significantly and includes naturopaths who are new graduates to practitioners that have been in practice for decades.

Along the way, Integra Nutrition has always taken advantage of opportunities to contribute to the growth of the naturopathic industry. It has been gratifying to be a member of the provincial and national associations, to be a part of the sponsorship programs for the schools and to support naturopaths directly in their own communities.

Today, Integra Nutrition is composed of a very strong and qualified group of people dedicated not only to quality of product, but also to quality of service. I have personally come to realize that although we provide formulations, our growth and success is based on trust. I thank each and every one of our clients for having that faith in us.
